The challenge of street photography is inspiring, rewarding and filling my soul with joy when all the elements come together to make a meaningful image. Connie Jurgens

It has been too hot, but a very interesting way to spend my holidays and follow my husband. And why not testing my photographic abilities? The Very Poetic group was so nice and New York so beautiful. We spent a lot of time photographing in Coney Island, which is such an unusual place to visit and to meet people.
Talking about photography with Ernesto and the other students was very interesting. When I was back home it was very hard to restart my usual job and life. What a good experience! Giovanna Santinelli

The New York workshop was an experience of a lifetime! It was great being with Ernesto again and meeting Sissy and the kids. We had a spectacular group and we had a fabulous time even though it was so hot! This was my second workshop with Ernesto and he makes me strive to be better while taking risks. My ‘Diana’ and I walked and walked, but it was a great way to see the real New York from a unique viewpoint. Kay Price

To wander alone, for hours in search of the nexus and share the journey with kindred spirits. In search of the connection in the pulse of life, how light can dance of Zen like alignment. Invisible threads drawing together, opposing the magic, the mystery watch and listen, sharpen your senses. Let your heart trip the shutter. Mark Silverberg

This was my first workshop with Ernesto in a really hot but beautiful as usual New York. The city is one of the most exiting places in the world to do street photography. With the help of Ernesto I started to explore Coney Island and photograph more than we usually see, training my eye to look at the story, the moments and the expressions of the street and to look beyond reality. The editing of our pictures, the ensuing discussions and the reading of our photographs has been very useful. Now, I think to be ahead of where I was before as a photographer and I would definitely do another workshop again. Paolo Potestà
